Refund Policy
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange after this time lapses.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We will not accept any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts, not due to our error.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
**We do not accept returns for original or commissioned art.**
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please contact your credit card company, as it may take time for your refund to officially post.
Please also check with your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
Exchanges
We only replace items that are defective or damaged. To exchange it for the same item, please send us an email at themelicollection@gmail.com.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you (giftee), you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. The returned item must be received first.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver (giftor) had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the giftor.
Shipping on Returned Items
You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returned items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Please keep in mind that time of shipping of exchanged products is dependent on your location and may vary per state.
If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee receipt of your returned item.
