What’s in a signature?

It is said that a person’s signature is not only unique to that person, but a window into one’s personality and a representation of one's self to the world.
A signature is, by that definition, art. Similar to a signature, art also provides a window into the creator’s thoughts, emotions and personality.
In the same way I put careful thought into my paintings, I also did that with my signature. It was important that I be thoughtful and intentional because an artist’s signature becomes part and parcel of the artwork.
I thought about what art meant to me when I’m creating. Art is love. And I wanted my signature to represent that; to represent my love for art and the love I put into my work.
So if you thought my signature looks like a heartbeat, it is.
